Localization
Localization goes beyond translation; it means restructuring or customizing contents to the local conditions and environment to ensure success in the given locality.
Localization is performed to make the given product appear to have been developed in the local language. Therefore, any portion of the content irrelevant locally should be excluded or modified, and new materials should be added as necessary. This job is not possible without organic communication between the customer and others including project manager, linguist, translator, DTP specialist and engineer. All of them should have ample experience and professional competence.
